Trevor Hunt, owner of Pine Creek Outfitters lives in the southwest corner of Utah, within 2 hours from the trophy hunting units of southern and eastern Nevada, southern Utah and northern Arizona. Living his whole life there Trevor and his crew have learned where the animals summer, grow their antlers and rut. Due to the many hours of scouting, Trevor along with friends and family have walked almost every inch of these areas. During this time they have learned where the animals bed and where all the little hidden water holes are.

We are licensed and permitted in Utah and Nevada.

Pine Creek Outfitters mission is to offer serious hunters a quality and knowledgeable hunt, with the possibility of taking home the trophy of a lifetime. To find out more information on how to hunt with us our contact information is below.

Howard Bracken Lion Hunt

On New Years Day Howard invited me to go lion hunting with him and I jumped at the chance. We went out to the SW Desert unit here in Utah where some friends of ours had seen a great track.  After two days of trailing this big ole Tom we were able to get him treed and end the hunt.  Our friends Brant Gardner and Kody Phelps were there with their dogs to do the hard part and they did an awesome job.  They are some of the toughest guys I have ever hunted with.  I hope to be able to spend more time hunting with them in the future.

The Crew: Kody Phelps, Brant Gardner, Jeff Gardner, Howard Bracken, Trevor Gardner, me and Clint Gardner.

Standing under the cat listening to him hiss. This was an adrenaline rush for sure.

The cat at the top of the tree and one of the dogs half way up the tree.  I took this through my phone skope attached to my Vortex Razor HD spotting scope from about a half mile away.

Last fall I drew the tag of a life time, a Southwest Desert archery elk tag, and knew I was in for the time of my life. Though I have a great knowledge of the country, I live five hours from the unit and could not afford to make the trip every weekend to scout. I asked Trevor for his help and it made my hunt a complete success. Trevor's knowledge of the animals, their habits, the terrain, and hunting in general is undone only by his eminent passion and dedication to and for all of the forementioned. While I was 500 miles away he kept me updated weekly with new trail cam pictures of bulls in the area. When my hunt finally started we had names for bulls he and I had been watching all summer and a great game plan.

I have heard stories of pushy overbearing outfitters and I can attest that this certainly was not the case with Mr. Hunt. Patient and calm, he understand the patience it takes to not only take a trophy but also enjoy a hunt from sun up to sun down. With his help, I hunted a very smart/tricky trophy bull that outsmarted me for 10 straight nights. Every time I got frustrated he reminded me of the great opportunity I had just to be doing what I was doing and encouraged me to stay patient. . . if you do the right things long engough it will all work out. . .

I killed a beautiful 350" bull during the last week of my hunt. I shot him at 4 yards and watched him hit the dirt. It's hunt I will absoultely never forget and Trevor was a very big part of that.

If I ever get lucky enough to draw the tag again, you bet I will be teaming up with Trevor again.
